Avengers vs. X-Men #0 Sneak Peek

Marvel Comics has provided CBR with an exclusive five-page preview of “Avengers vs. X-Men” #0 by Jason Aaronwith art by Frank Cho. The preview focuses on Cyclops and Hope on Utopia, teasing the resurrection of the Phoenix force and a conflict between the X-Men leader and the Mutant Messiah.

In an “Avengers vs. X-Men” live event in 2011, Brian Michael Bendis teased the direction of the event for The Avengers, who have been tested and will likely continue to be so. “What’s been going on lately is that they’ve been tested…they’re wondering what it means to be an Avenger…when the world is throwing one terrible disaster at them after another…it takes a toll on a society and the Avengers are left to take the blame for it, as it were,” Bendis said. “They’re going to want answers from Captain America.” The writer further said the #0 issue will set the final pieces of the story in place.

The preview pages follow yesterday’s released unlettered pages from “Avengers vs. X-Men” #0, a week of cover reveals earlier in January for tie-in issues of core Avengers and X-Men titles and the announcement of the only stand-alone tie-in series to the event, “AvX: Versus.”

Wednesday Comic Haul!

As some of you may know, we just moved to Riverside, CA and we’re now residing in Marriott Riverside. So I have no idea where the Local Comic Shop is. I still haven’t bought this week’s haul. Thankfully, We went to San Diego, CA on Thursday to spend the weekend there. I know the LCS there in that area. I bought a lot of this week’s releases. Although I didn’t get to buy Secret Avengers #21.1, I bought most of the ones I wanted and some extras. I bought a butt load of The Walking Dead issues.

Anyway, here’s my haul for this week:

Home Sweet Home

Some of you may know that I lived most of my life in a hotel. In Jeddah Marriott to be specific.

My Dad recently got a job in Marriott Riverside. So, from Milpitas, CA, we moved to Riverside, CA. In a mild 6-hour drive, we took I-5 to Riverside.

We had breakfast at the VIP Lounge.

Doodling

Everyone usually go out and watch some movies or hang out at the comic book store (I’m just assuming, LOL). I just doodle and get some ideas out on my notebook. I write and draw a lot.
